Scrollytelling

Pinned scroll narratives — chapters, zooms, depth scenes

16 blocks
( filter blocks )
01PinnedChaptersPinned viewport where numbered chapters crossfade in as you scroll

( 01 — chapters )

01

( the problem )

Most stories get told once, then forgotten

A single scroll used to be enough. Attention is shorter now — the story has to hold the viewer chapter by chapter, not paragraph by paragraph.

02

( the shift )

We started designing for the scrollbar

Every pixel of scroll became a frame of animation. The page stopped being a document and became a timeline the reader controls.

03

( the craft )

Pacing is the whole job now

Hold a beat too long and people bail. Cut too fast and nothing lands. We tune every chapter transition by feel, then by frame rate.

04

( the result )

A page that behaves like a film

Chapters crossfade instead of jump-cut. The viewport becomes a screen, and the scroll becomes the projector.

02ScrollProgressStoryNarrative beats with a reading-progress rail and a sticky image that swaps per beat

( 02 — our story )

01

Idea

It started as a napkin sketch and a hunch that the market was ready for something less generic.

02

Prototype

Three weeks of throwaway code proved the interaction was worth building for real — the hunch held up.

03

Traction

The first cohort of users found us through word of mouth alone. Retention told us we had something.

04

Scale

What worked for a hundred users had to work for a hundred thousand — so we rebuilt the foundations.

03ZoomThroughFramesPinned tunnel-zoom where nested frames scale from a pinprick to past the edges

04StickyImageSequenceText steps scroll on the left while a sticky image morphs to match each step

( 04 — how it works )

01

Connect your stack

One integration links every tool your team already runs — no migrations, no lock-in, no waiting on IT.

02

Automate the busywork

Rules run in the background so status updates, hand-offs and reminders happen without anyone touching a keyboard.

03

Watch it in real time

A single live view replaces the stand-up. Everyone sees the same state of the world, updated as it changes.

04

Ship with confidence

Every change is reversible and every action is logged, so moving fast never means moving blind.

05HorizontalChaptersPinned horizontal scroll through numbered, stroked-type chapters

( 05 — timeline )

Five chapters, one studio

01

Origin

A three-person studio working out of a spare bedroom, taking on any brief that would let us learn something.

02

Focus

We narrowed to product and brand work for teams building something genuinely new — the projects that keep us honest.

03

Craft

Systems over one-offs. Every engagement now leaves the client with tokens, components and documentation, not just files.

04

Studio

Twelve people across three time zones, still turning down more work than we take on.

05

Now

Building the next chapter with the same rule we started with: never ship something we would not be proud to sign.

06RevealOnScrollWallGiant pinned statement whose words sharpen from a blurred ghost into focus as you scroll

( 06 — manifesto )

Great work is not decoration. It is the argument the product makes before anyone reads a word of copy.

Milestones, scrubbed by scroll

2016

Started in a co-working corner with three laptops and a shared conviction.

2019

Crossed forty shipped engagements — the first repeat clients started returning.

2022

Grew to twelve across design, motion and engineering without losing the studio feel.

2026

Backed the studio into a product company, still run by the same three founders.

12StorySourceToPlateFarm-to-table sourcing story: pinned media swaps through origin, craft and plate while chapter text slides in

( from source to plate )

01 / 03

( origin )

It starts in soil, not in a kitchen

Heirloom vegetables and slow-grazed herds from growers we call by first name — picked at dawn, forty minutes from our door.

the farm

( craft )

Fire, salt and patient hands

Whole animals butchered in-house, bread proofed overnight, stocks that simmer while the city sleeps. Nothing arrives ready-made.

the kitchen

( plate )

Served the hour it is ready

A short menu written every morning around what the farm sent. When a dish runs out, it runs out — tomorrow it will be something else.

14StoryDayAtVenueMorning-to-night venue chapters whose section background color-shifts with the hour, flipping the palette after dark

( one day here )

07:3015:0023:00
07:30

( morning )

Coffee and courtyard light

Doors open to fresh pastry, filter coffee and the quiet hour before the city fully wakes. Regulars keep their table by the window.

15:00

( afternoon )

Long lunches, slow hours

The kitchen settles into service, sun crosses the terrace, and nobody is asked to hurry. Afternoons here are meant to stretch.

23:00

( night )

The bar takes over

Lights drop, vinyl goes on, and the room changes character entirely. Last orders are late, and the walk home is short.

15AssemblyScrubCopy chapters scroll past a sticky frame that builds itself — photo slices fly and rotate into a finished elevation with a technical drawing plate

BLCK. 01

Foundation

Every project starts below grade — soil surveys, load paths and a concrete raft engineered for the next hundred years.

BLCK. 02

Structure

A prefabricated frame arrives in numbered segments and is bolted together in weeks, not seasons.

BLCK. 03

Envelope

Facade panels lock onto the frame like drawing sheets onto a title block — sealed, insulated, tested.

BLCK. 04

Handover

Systems commissioned, snags closed, keys on the table. The drawing set becomes an address.

( what we stand for )

  • 01

    Show up early

We arrive before the doubt does — first at the start line, first to volunteer, first to say yes.

  • 02

    Keep it human

No jargon, no gatekeeping. If a ten-year-old can join in, we built it right.

  • 03

    Go the distance

Quick wins are fun; finished promises are better. We commit for seasons, not sprints.

  • 04

    Leave a trail

Everything we learn gets written down and handed on, so the next crew starts further ahead.
